We are making strawberry jam today! I am looking forward to this being the last year I buy strawberries and make jam. Next summer we plan on having our own strawberry patch. Luke says that we will need a dog to guard the strawberries-ha! Good try, buddy.photo via bbc goodfood

Actually you can tell Luke, that dogs will actually eat the strawberries. My mom had a dog that would always eat them before she would get to them.
I whole heartedly agree with Amy. Dogs not only eat the strawberries they eat the birds that try to eat the strawberries first.
